Tony DeVito Announces Retirement

Former ECW talent and ROH Tag Team Champion Tony DeVito announced his retirement from wrestling.

DeVito made the announcement at ALW in Florida, saying his doctors have told him he cannot perform in the ring going forward after suffering a stroke in his eye.

He has been a staple of ALW in Florida since 2023, winning the ALW Heavyweight Title, Tag Team Titles, and Hardcore Titles along with training wrestlers.

He started his career in 1992, working as an enhancement talent on WWE (WWF) television. He was part of early episodes of WWE Raw, facing the likes of Yokozuna, Bam Bam Bigelow, Kevin Nash (Diesel), Shawn Michaels, and more.
