MJF confirms that his social media account was hacked and has a quick message for fans who believed he needed money.
On the evening of December 29th, Max’s Twitter/X account would make several posts offering help to earn money in what has become a popular scam amongst hackers of popular figures social media pages. While many fans were quick to recognize the scam, it was not until a day later that MJF confirmed that he had been hacked.
In a new social media post on December 30th, MJF confirmed the hack and would also include a Venmo link for ‘anyone dumb as f**k enough to believe’ that he needed money.

What began as an in character reaction to his social media being hacked backfired on Max, as fans would request money from the AEW World Champion.

MJF would make one more post on the matter, showing a screenshot of some fans requesting large sums from him, including one noting that MJF owed him following AEW Worlds End.
