Bruce Prichard: If Triple H Didn’t Marry Stephanie McMahon, He’d Still Be In The Same Position He’s In Today

Prichard believes Triple H would still be where he is present day even if he didn’t marry into the McMahon family.
The latest episode of Bruce Prichard’s Something to Wrestle podcast covered Prichard’s return to WWE. Along the way, rumors surrounding and related to his comeback were addressed.
One of those rumors had to do with there being friction between Prichard and Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque. After Prichard debunked that, he shared his opinion that even if Levesque had not married into the McMahon family, he would still be in the same position he’s in today.
“I have nothing to hate him for, and in all the times we worked together prior to coming back, and look, I can’t speak for him. I don’t know. But, I do know how he treated me. He always treated me well. So, he was a top talent, and obviously married in but, if he had married Betty down the street, he’d still be in the same position he is in today. Because he still has those qualifications. He still has that love and that desire for the business, and that’s what I appreciate as well is we do share the same love and appreciation for the business. But always did, that’s the thing. That is 100 percent just rumor, gossip, people going, ‘Oh, well, you know –‘ it’s simply not true, in any way, shape, or form.”
Levesque’s name is tied to a WWE shareholders’ lawsuit. Reporting on the matter was done by Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics/POST Wrestling. A recap of the write-up can be read here.
