Matt Cardona Still Defending ACW Championship vs. Mike Santana
Despite being announced as a member of the Friday Night Smackdown roster, Matt Cardona is still scheduled to defend his ACW Championship tonight vs. Mike Santana.
Seeing as Santana is a member of the TNA roster and WWE has a working relationship with the company, there seem to be no issues with Cardona likely dropping the belt to the former TNA Champion at “The Poughkeepsie Rumble.”
Elsewhere on the card is the 20 man Poughkeepsie Rumble along with Real1 defending his ACW National Championship as well as Shotzi Blackheart challenging Indi Hartwell for the ACW Women’s Championship.
Matt Cardona recently posted a statement on his WWE return which was years in the making. After being released all those years ago, Cardona worked his way back to the top and no longer will be referred to as Zack Ryder.
