Drew McIntyre Wins Undisputed WWE Championship On WWE SmackDown

Drew McIntyre captured the Undisputed WWE Championship on WWE SmackDown, defeating Cody Rhodes in a Three Stages of Hell match.
The finish saw McIntyre escape the cage through the door while Cody was brawling with a returning Jacob Fatu.
Fatu initially prevented McIntyre from leaving through the cage door, entering the cage himself. As he was attacking McIntyre, Cody pulled him away. Fatu then attacked Cody. The distraction allowed McIntyre to leave the cage and win the title.
The three stages included a normal wrestling match, a fall count anywhere match, and a cage match.
Drew got the first fall, hitting a low blow and then a Claymore for the three count. Cody won the second fall, hitting the Cross Rhodes through the announce table.
This marks the third reign as Undisputed WWE Champion for McIntyre, and his first since 2021. Cody’s reign lasted 159 days. He made four successful title defenses.
