JBL After Taking His First Bump In 16 Years: Like A Kid Again, A Real Real Old Kid

It’s been 16 years since the last time JBL stepped into a pro wrestling ring and took a proper bump. While he’s still actively going around the world making appearances and hitting people with the Clothesline From Hell, that doesn’t mean anyone is returning the favor.

JBL hit the towns as he’s currently in Kentucky working with Ohio Valley Wrestling’s Jody Malenko and Al Snow. He announced he’d be at “the big show” in Louisville on January 11 which is OVW’s Nightmare Rumble event.

In the video he posted, JBL was seen taking a shoulder tackle which knocked him to the mat. The exchange came after a tie-up where the former WWE Champion pushed his opponents off the ropes.

As simple as it was, JBL acknowledged it was his, “first bump in 16 years. Haha. Like a kid again, a real real old kid.” After posting a video like this, one can only wonder if he will make a surprise appearance in the Nightmare Rumble.
