Brody King Recounts MVP Becoming A Mentor To Him Early In His Wrestling Career
Brody King speaks about the mentorship that MVP provided.
There’s a feature story centered around Brody King that is up on the Orlando Sentinel site. As the conversation moved along, King spoke about the time he spent with Major League Wrestling.
It was there that he met fellow AEW talent MVP. King opened up about the mentorship that MVP provided to him.
“MLW is where I got to meet a lot of my peers on the way up. I wrestled MVP on my first show, and he became kind of a mentor for me after I found out we both went to punk and hardcore shows… He guided a young Brody King who wanted to do all kinds of crazy stuff in the ring that may not have been great for my body’s longevity. He helped guide my way, learn how to protect myself and protect my size.”
King is currently supporting his tag team partner, ROH World Champion Bandido, as Bandido is gearing up to challenge MJF for the AEW World Championship at the Maximum Carnage special on January 14th.
