Carlos Silva On Growing TNA’s Attendance Since Becoming President

TNA President Carlos Silva has been a key focal point of the promotion’s WWE partnership and landing a new TV deal on AMC.
Silva recently sat down with Bart Berkey for an episode of “Most People Don’t, But YOU DO!” where he discussed all things TNA.
“I’m a big believer that all of those people in the arena also tell 10 people about it and then they want to watch on television. If they watch on television and they like it maybe they want to come back to the arena again,” Silva said. “It’s how to create this loop of experience that keeps feeding each other to keep building the product.”
Silva continued, “I think in the case of TNA, TNA is a foundational pro wrestling property that’s been around 23 years but maybe had lost their way a little bit around both sides of that experience… We started to focus more on the venue and the experience in the venue, and then those experiences would then power those wrestlers to feel the energy and pick their energy up.”
“That was the first step we really tried to tackle in the arena’s. As I like to tell my team, no one likes to go to an empty restaurant because the energy doesn’t feel good,” he added. “You want to make sure in that arena, whether it’s 1,000 people or 2,000 people or 10,000 people, that it’s full. Whatever that moment is, it creates the right environment.”
So far in 2026, TNA’s schedule includes stops in Dallas, TX, and Albuquerque, NM. This Thursday, January 15, is their first episode of Thursday Night iMPACT! on AMC. Two days later, they’ll be live on PPV for Genesis.
