Leon Slater comments on his WWE appearances, noting that he is looking to represent himself and TNA as best as he can.

In the latter half of 2025, Leon Slater would begin to make appearances on NXT television as his rivalry and tag team with Je’Von Evans continued to grow, leading to Slater competing on the card of John Cena’s last match, as well as being Oba Femi’s final NXT Title defense.

While speaking to Joey Karni in a new interview, Leon Slater was asked about not being portrayed as a ‘kid’ during his WWE appearances.

“It’s a huge opportunity for me, man. It’s something I take great pride in. Inside the ring, I’m doing my best. I’m showing people what the X-Division style is all about, what Leon Slater is about, but just like inside the ring, I’m doing the outside the ring as well. The way I’m dressed going to the venue, the way I’m talking to people, the way I’m carrying myself, trying to make sure I’m doing everything right, checking all the boxes as far as talent goes so when people say like oh we’re thinking of having a TNA talent on John Cena’s last match, like oh yea Leon of course. I’m just trying to represent myself and my company as best as I can.”

Slater is currently scheduled to defend the TNA X-Division Championship against Myron Reed on the AMC Premiere. You can read more about that here.
