Shingo Takagi And Natsupoi Get Married

Shingo Takagi and Natsupoi have announced their marriage.

The announcement was made via Tokyo Sports. The two have been dating since 2004 after Takagi made a guest appearance at a Stardom show and promoted his 20th anniversary tournament.

Natsupoi recalled about their meeting, “At that moment, I felt a ‘beep’. I guess this is what they call fate (laughs). I decided I wanted to get to know this person better, so I made a strong move. I asked for his contact information and called him. It was the first time in my life that I had made such a move! But Takagi-san was super insensitive.”

Takagi said, “I would like to have children in the future. I would like to show them my active career. When I think about that, I would like to create a bright and happy family.”

Natsupoi said, “Because we are in the same industry, I think we can support each other in a good way and improve each other. I don’t want to do anything half-heartedly while I’m active, and I want to make sure I make a proper break before moving on to the next step, but one of my dreams is to show my children Takagi-san wrestling, so I hope we can build such a future someday.

“I don’t want my results in pro wrestling to worsen after announcing my marriage. There is still plenty of time this year, so I want to work hard and stick to the belt. It would be great if we could both achieve results.”
