Kazuchika Okada: I Need To Aim For The AEW World Title

Kazuchika Okada has won the AEW International Championship, AEW Continental Championship, and AEW Unified Championship.

He lost the AEW Continental Championship to Jon Moxley at AEW Worlds End when Moxley defeated him in the tournament finals, but he remains the International Champion.

Speaking to Tokyo Sports, Okada was asked for his goals in AEW as he enters year three.

“I still have the International belt (after losing the Continental title in December last year), but I definitely need to aim for the AEW main event (AEW World) Heavyweight belt. I’ve been fighting in different title fights for a long time, so I want to go there and win the belt, and I hope to come back to Japan with that in mind,” he said.

Kazuchika Okada hasn’t wrestled on AEW TV since losing to Moxley, but he did face Hiroshi Tanahashi in Tanahashi’s retirement match at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 20.
