NJPW Held Secret Show On 1/13 To Commemorate 100th Anniversary Of Hachioji Jissen High School, Over 1,000 Students & Teachers Attended The Event

A special show solely for the students and staff.

On January 13th, New Japan Pro-Wrestling presented a closed-off event to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Hachioji Jissen Junior & Senior High School. That is the alma mater of five-time IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion Hiromu Takahashi.

There were about 1,250 students and teachers from the school in attendance. Before the show began, there was an in-ring training session led by Yuya Uemura. There was also a ring announcing session, and individuals were selected to introduce matches on the card.

At the end of the event, Takahashi asked who had a birthday on 1/13, and four students raised their hands. He invited them into the ring, and they took a photo with him, IWGP World Heavyweight and IWGP Global Heavyweight Champion Yota Tsuji, and IWGP Tag Team Champions the Knock Out Brothers (Yuto-Ice & OSKAR).
