Daria Rae (Sonya Deville) Shows Up On 1/15 TNA iMPACT, Plans To Overtake Santino Marella In Authority Role

Marella thought he had an ally in Daria Rae.

On the debut of Thursday Night iMPACT on AMC, there was an appearance from TNA Director of Authority Santino Marella.

He spoke about his daughter Arianna Grace turning on him and how that has put him in a rut. He said the TNA Board of Directors felt it’d be best if he had some assistance with his authority role. He then introduced Daria Rae f.k.a. Sonya Deville.

After initially bigging up Marella, she flipped the script and said TNA does not need Marella or his games. She stated that she can do his job better than he can and plans to do that.

Rae spent all of her in-ring career with WWE. Her contract with the company was not renewed in 2025. During her run there, she served in an authority role.

The TNA appearance is the first on-screen wrestling appearance that Rae has made outside of WWE.
