Drew McIntyre Says There Was A ‘No Rematch’ Clause For Cody Rhodes

Drew McIntyre won the Undisputed WWE Championship in a Three Stages of Hell match on the January 9th episode of WWE SmackDown.
McIntyre defeated Cody Rhodes, escaping the cage in the third stage while Rhodes was battling Jacob Fatu.
On Friday’s WWE SmackDown, McIntyre informed Rhodes and fans that there was a “no rematch” clause in the contract, meaning Rhodes would not get an automatic rematch as the former champion.
McIntyre said that Rhodes would have to work his way back to the top like anyone else.
Randy Orton would come out to confront Drew McIntyre after his promo, leading to Fatu coming out to run McIntyre off.
