Santos Escobar Returns To AAA
Santos Escobar is back in AAA.
Escobar made his return at the January 17th AAA on FOX Latin America premiere. Escobar, wearing the mask of his father El Fantasma, confronted AAA Latin American Champion El Hijo del Dr. Wagner Jr.
Escobar knocked down Wagner Jr before grabbing the championship and revealing himself.

Escobar’s contract with WWE expired on October 7, but he quickly re-signed with the promotion.
He last wrestled at AAA x WWE Worlds Collide 2025: Los Angeles in June. He was aligned with Humberto Carrillo and Angel Garza as Legado Del Fantasma.
Santos Escobar regularly competed in AAA from 2013 to 2019 before signing with WWE.
