Becky Lynch: I Genuinely Told Lyra Valkyria, ‘You Are My Biggest Hope For The Future,’ Because I Want People To Be Like Her

Becky Lynch has praise for Lyra Valkyria in the opening episode of WWE: Unreal Season 2.

At WWE WrestleMania 41 last year, Becky would make her return to the company for the first time since mid 2024, taking the place of an ‘injured’ Bayley at the show, teaming with Lyra Valkyria to dethrone Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez as WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions.

While speaking in the opening episode of WWE: Unreal Season 2, Becky Lynch shared that she told Lyra that she was ‘her biggest hope for the future.’

“I’m looking forward to working with Lyra, to giving her a story. She’s so good. I genuinely told her, I said, ‘you are my biggest hope for the future,’ because I want people to be like her. She’s kind. She wants to work hard, and you need people like that.”

Elsewhere in the same episode, Lynch noted that the contract she is currently on will be her final one, and that she almost didn’t come back from her time off in the first place. You can read more about that here.
