Kiana James & Giulia Become Number One Contenders For WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles

Kiana James and Giulia are the number one contenders for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships.

On 1/23 SmackDown, fans saw a tag team match between Nia Jax & Lash Legend, Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss, and Kiana James & Giulia to determine the next challengers for Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky’s Women’s Tag Team Titles.

The match ending saw Lash Legend hit the Lash Extension on Alexa Bliss, but before she could go for the pin, Charlotte speared her. This allowed Kiana James to get back into the ring and steal the victory by pinning Bliss.

The current champions, Ripley and Sky, are scheduled to defend their titles on Saturday Night’s Main Event against Liv Morgan and Roxxane Perez. The winner of this match will face James and Giulia at a later date.
