Ricochet To Carmelo Hayes: “You Wouldn’t Be Anything Without The Miz, Show Some Respect”

The 1/23 edition of Friday Night SmackDown emanated from the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. One of the matches on the show saw Carmelo Hayes defend his WWE United States Championship against Ilja Dragunov.
The Miz had a run-in with Hayes earlier in the day. The two have been at odds since they split apart, and Hayes went on to capture the U.S. Title.
During the match against Dragunov, Miz showed up and cost Dragunov the match. Hayes’ back was turned when Miz interfered and went after Dragunov. After the match, Hayes took to X and thanked Montreal, Ilja, and wrote ‘Fck you Miz.’
Responding to Hayes was the current AEW National Champion, Ricochet. He wrote the following:

While Ricochet was still with WWE, he and Carmelo Hayes went one-on-one at the WWE NXT Worlds Collide event with the North American Championship on the line.
