Finn Balor Interferes, Causes Disqualification End To CM Punk vs. AJ Styles On WWE Raw
Finn Balor ruins the fun in Toronto.
The January 26 episode of WWE Raw was capped off with another World Heavyweight Championship defense for CM Punk, as the ‘Best In The World’ put his title up against AJ Styles. This match was agreed upon by Styles and Punk in the show’s opening segment after Punk showed some concern regarding Styles’ possible loss to Gunther at the Royal Rumble.
As expected, the match was exceptional until the disqualification finish, which came as a result of interference from Finn Balor. Balor dropkicked Punk into the barricade two times before tossing him back in the ring and crushing him with three Coup De Grace finishers before the show went off the air.
Balor’s outrage comes after Adam Pearce denied him a spot in the Royal Rumble match, telling him that the entrant list is full.
