Kit Wilson Shares That ‘Pretty Deadly: The Musical’ Was A Legitimate Project, They Had 10 Songs & Were Looking For Venue To Perform At

‘Pretty Deadly: The Musical’ was a real project that Wilson and Prince were looking to bring to fruition.

While the duo known as Pretty Deadly (Kit Wilson & Elton Prince) were on WWE television, there was a period of time when they were promoting ‘Pretty Deadly: The Musical.’

On the newest episode of Insight with Chris Van Vliet, Wilson shared that it was a legitimate project. He stated that he and Prince had 10 songs, and they were looking for a venue to perform at.

“The musical is a real thing. We have — or had — and I still have in my files — 10 songs. We had lyrics, we were learning them. We were trying to do it properly and do a proper good job of it. We wanted to go full force with it… But behind the scenes, we were prepping, we were preparing. Again, with a few more of the guys backstage, we had songs written, we had lyrics written. We had a story, we were looking to find a place to perform it. If you have ever seen ‘It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia,’ and the musical episode, we’d kind of based it around that. So we had a lot in place. So it still might happen. We never know. If this career goes well, I think there’s a good excuse to hit it.

Here’s the thing: What we were originally aiming for… You can’t find the time on a SmackDown. But as we know, WrestleMania weekend is so big. We’ve got an extra show here, we’ve got an extra show there. We were trying to find a venue and a location to have a theater performance.

When WrestleMania is in London, Pretty Deadly: The Musical will debut. How about that?… We had so many plans for it and again, in the ideal world, we were gonna do this, we were gonna do that, and I guess that’s the fun of it. These things can happen and it still can happen but, we are prepped.

We were deadly serious… Pretty Deadly serious. Elton (Prince) has a better voice than me. He’s more of the natural singer. I was more of the natural dancer, an instrument guy. But yeah, we were cooking something up. We were trying our hardest to make it work.”
