Madison Rayne Says It Would be An Honor To Be Inducted Into TNA Hall of Fame, But One Person Deciding Doesn’t Validate Her Career

Madison Rayne is one of the most decorated TNA knockouts in company history, winning the TNA Knockouts Championship five times and the TNA Knockouts Tag Team Titles three times.

Rayne is qualified for the Hall of Fame based on those accolades alone, but is it something she expects?

That was the question posed to her by Deonna Purrazzo and Steve Maclin on Boots to Boots.

“I’m deciding on how I want to respond to this. Would it be an honor to have all of that work recognized and to be inducted into the TNA Hall of Fame? Yes. I would be honored. TNA, Dixie Carter, Jeff Jarrett, gave me the ball to run with, not just at that time in my life when I was a 22-year-old kid who didn’t even realize the magnitude of what was being offered to me. It was like walking through the door of the rest of my life. For that, for the years that I put in and the friendships that I made, the stories I told, the experiences that I had. I’m not too much of a fan to say that I was a huge fan of Victoria and Mickie James back in the day. When they came into TNA, I believe I was their first match. My resume there is unmatched, and I’m confident in saying that, not with ego, but a humble and sincere thought behind it. My resume there is pretty incredible,” she replied.

She continued, “Would I love to have the opportunity to be inducted into the Hall of Fame? Yes, but I also realized in the last couple of months or years that if that doesn’t happen for me, it doesn’t change everything I’ve done. Someone else making the decision as to whether or not I am worthy of something like that, has no bearing on how proud I am of everything I have done. How proud my husband is of everything I’ve done. My family. When my dad passed away, my mom and I were talking that day. One of the first things she said to me was, ‘He was so proud of you and everything you have done in wrestling. He would tell everybody that his daughter was Maidson Rayne.’ I’ve had people like Skye Blue thank me for everything that I’ve done. Those are the things that matter the most to me. I realized that somebody sitting at a desk somewhere deciding whether or not Madison Rayne should be inducted into the TNA Hall of Fame doesn’t matter to me. Real life things are bigger than someone validating me in that way.”

Angelina Love and Velvet Sky of the Beautiful People were inducted in the 2025 TNA Hall of Fame. Rayne was part of the Beautiful People beginning in 2009.

Elsewhere during the interview, Madison Rayne discussed her recent retirement. Fans can find her full comments here.
