Steve Maclin Fired From TNA On 1/29 TNA iMPACT

The Feast or Fired revelations are made.

TNA Wrestling brought back its Feast or Fired match, where multiple talents tried to retrieve briefcases. There were four briefcases, and getting one of them would secure a talent either a TNA World Title match, a TNA International Title match, a TNA X Division Title shot, or they would be fired from the promotion.

The four talents to retrieve briefcases were Eric Young, Trey Miguel, Eddie Edwards, and Steve Maclin.

During the revelations, Eddie Edwards got the World Title match, Trey Miguel got the International Title shot, Eric Young got the X Division Title match, and that left Steve Maclin with the briefcase to be fired. Afterward, Young told Maclin that his choices would haunt him, referencing their on-screen history.

Maclin has been with TNA/IMPACT since 2021. He is a one-time IMPACT World Champion and a two-time TNA International Champion.

Back in October 2025, Fightful Select reported that Maclin’s contract with TNA was ‘up in the coming months.’ Maclin is married to AEW/ROH talent, the reigning ROH Women’s Pure Champion, Deonna Purrazzo.
