Sendai Girls’ is the latest group to be accepted.

In late 2023, multiple wrestling promotions in Japan came together to form United Japan Pro-Wrestling. The following promotions are part of the group: NJPW, STARDOM, AJPW, Big Japan Pro Wrestling, DDT, Dragongate, Ganbare Pro, Kyushu Pro, NOAH, and TJPW.

There is a new promotion that has joined the group, and that is Sendai Girls’ Pro Wrestling, which is co-run by Meiko Satomura and Jinsei Shinzaki (Hakushi).

The following statement is from Satomura about the group joining UJPW:

We aim for further development and evolution within the pro wrestling world. Through cooperation with the Japan Pro Wrestling Federation, we are committed to strengthening the development and recognition of female professional wrestlers.

We look forward to your continued support.

The current Sendai Girls’ World Champion Chihiro Hashimoto gave a statement as well:

I am Chihiro Hashimoto of Sendai Girls’ Pro-Wrestling.

We, the Sendai Girls, are driven by the desire to “expand the possibilities of women’s professional wrestling and to help our wrestlers, even from the countryside, become world-class wrestlers.”

As a member of the Japan Pro Wrestling Federation, I would like to contribute to the development of the professional wrestling world as a whole, and as a professional wrestler, I would like to convey the joy, courage, and energy of professional wrestling to the next generation.

We will strive diligently to honor the history of pro-wrestling while becoming a force that can renew that history.
