Iyo Sky: I Respect Rhea Ripley So Much
Iyo Sky comments on tag team partner Rhea Ripley.
Sky and Ripley are WWE’s current Women’s Tag Team Champions. Ripley recently talked about Sky in an interview, and said she’s having so much fun working with her that she’s not ready to go back to being “serious Rhea” again. It seems this feeling is mutual between the two.
While speaking with Denise Salcedo for a recent interview, Iyo Sky opened up about her chemistry with Rhea Ripley on-screen. Sky said she has a lot of respect for Ripley. She believes that because both wrestlers have trust in each other’s wrestling abilities, they’re able to have good chemistry in the ring.
“I respect her so much. She’s such a big star. She’s a total package. Also, she is such a great personality too. She always helped me. She is always kind to everybody, including me. She’s so amazing person. So that’s why I respect her. Also, she’s strong. She’s always in good condition. She is an amazing wrestler. I trust her. She’s amazing.
Maybe she trusted my wrestling ability or something like that as a wrestler. So that’s why I hit her strong and then I know she will get up [from] my elbow, and she knows I will get up even [though] she hit me strong. So that’s why we could make great chemistry in the ring.”
