Shawn Michaels: I Get As Much Joy From Working With Young Talent Now Than I Did Anything From My Own Career

Shawn Michaels talks about getting the chance to work with young talent in his role with NXT.

In recent years, Michaels has served as the person in charge of WWE NXT, WWE’s developmental brand. For HBK, the role is one that he takes a tremendous amount of joy in with working with young talent in the company.

While speaking to Vic Joseph on WWE’s YouTube ahead of the WWE Royal Rumble, Shawn Michaels was asked about his favorite part of his current role in WWE.

“That’s easy. It’s working with the young talent. It is having the opportunity to be a part of their careers when it’s the learning stage. I always say the part that’s the most enjoyable, the most fun. They’re young, they’re hungry, they’re passionate, they’re excited, and we’re able to give them the opportunity and I get as much joy, if not more, from that than I did anything from my own career.”
