The Young Bucks Weigh In On Idea Of Running Indie Promotion After Their In-Ring Careers Are Over
They’ve discussed the idea before.
As The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson) were recording a Q&A for Being The Elite, they were asked if they would remain in the wrestling business after their in-ring careers were over.
Initially, both said no, but then Nick brought up the possibility of running an independent promotion.
Nick: “No.”
Matt: “Hell no.”
Nick: “Nah, you know what? I say that now but, I think I’ve always envisioned running a smaller independent company maybe. Not even a company. Maybe just spot shows, here and there.”
Matt: “I can see us doing something eventually. I’ve talked about this before. We’ll see. If you ask me right now, I’d be like, no… But if you ask me in a few weeks, I’ll be like, maybe, and then in a couple months, yeah, for sure. So you’re just gonna get a different answer every day.”
The Young Bucks were last in action at AEW Dynamite: Maximum Carnage in a four-way tag team match to determine the next challengers to the AEW World Tag Team Championship.
