Tommaso Ciampa On The Making Of His AEW Theme: I’ve Never Been Able To Collaborate With Somebody Who’s A Music Artist In That Way

Tommaso Ciampa discusses the making of his AEW theme and getting to work closely with Mikey Rukus.

On the January 28th edition of AEW Dynamite, Ciampa would debut for the promotion, confronting Mark Briscoe and later that week, defeating the TNT Champion to win his first title in AEW. Upon his debut, Tommaso came with a brand new theme song.

While speaking in a video posted by AEW to social media, Tommaso Ciampa spoke about being able to collaborate with Mikey Rukus on his AEW theme song.

“For this all to just fall together in 48 hours, like talking with Mike Mansury and talking about here’s my vision of a tron and then seeing it come to fruition, and then talking to Mikey Rukus and saying, this is the music that I’ve always wanted, here’s the elements, here’s four songs, here’s the parts I like, and 48 hours with them, 36 hours with them, it was a blast. Like, I’ve never been able to collaborate with somebody who’s a music artist in that way, where it’s just your opinion matters so much, and it was just this back and forth of just, I don’t know, just jiving. I’ve never met this dude, you know what I mean? I can’t wait to meet him now, because what he put together was true. He just crushed it.”
