AJ Styles Says ‘Never Say Never’ About Wrestling Again, ‘Everybody Is Allowed At Least Once To Come Out Of Retirement’

AJ Styles put his career on the line against Gunther at WWE Royal Rumble, looking to prove he is still Phenomenal. Unfortunately for Styles, and wrestling fans, he passed out in a chokehold, bringing an end to his legendary career that has spanned over 25 years.
After the match, Styles teased taking off his gloves and leaving them in the ring, but ultimately put them back on and continued to play to the crowd.
Speaking to Stephanie McMahon on What’s Your Story? Styles was asked about the decision to put the gloves back on.
“I don’t know. I don’t know. Never say never, right? That’s the saying. I think everybody is allowed at least once to come out of retirement. I’m not saying I’ll do it anytime soon. I’m just saying that, what if my son wrestles? The opportunity to tag with him once? You never know. There will be a time when the gloves never go back on, and it may be now. We’ll see,” he said.
Styles said that he is working with his second oldest son, and that his daughter has shown interest in wrestling.
