JetSpeed Discusses Winning AEW World Trios Titles With Hangman Adam Page
JetSpeed looks back at the title win.
In January, the trio of Hangman Adam Page and JetSpeed (Kevin Knight & ‘Speedball’ Mike Bailey) bested The Opps (Samoa Joe, Powerhouse Hobbs & Katsuyori Shibata) to capture the AEW World Trios Championship.
JetSpeed was interviewed by MuscleManMalcolm and was asked about the title win. Here’s what the duo had to say:
Knight: “Man, it’s my first gold in an American company. I won gold in New Japan, and now it’s my first time in an American company so it’s cool to be beside one of my best friends and Hangman Adam Page so, it’s dope, it’s dope.”
Bailey: “I feel like we’re just getting started. I have been wrestling for a long time — for a very f*cking long time. You haven’t been wrestling for so long and you’re already in the best wrestling company in the world, winning championships. So we’ve got a lot more time and a lot more belts to capture.”
Knight: “It’s what we expect. It’s part of the plan.”
That World Trios Title match was Powerhouse Hobbs’ final match in AEW. He has since gone on to debut for WWE and is now known as ‘Royce Keys.’
