Charlotte Flair: I Think Any Given Year The Women Can Main Event WrestleMania

As part of Radio Row during Super Bowl weekend, Charlotte Flair had a chance to sit down with On SI to discuss numerous topics.

One of which was WrestleMania, an event WWE is well on the road to after the Royal Rumble.

CM Punk vs. Roman Reigns is a shoo-in to main event Night Two, so now it’s just a matter of figuring out that Night One spot.

“I think any given year the women can main event, it really just boils down to who has the best story,” Charlotte said. “I don’t think anyone should be given the main event spot just because they’re a man or a woman. I think it’s who has the best story.”

Flair said the women’s division is “Deeper than it’s ever been” and called it the “most stacked” she’s seen during her time with the company.

Back at WrestleMania 35, Charlotte Flair was part of the first ever women’s main event where she faced Becky Lynch and Ronda Rousey.
