The OXP (Justin Ortiz) Stunt Doubles Bad Bunny During Super Bowl LX Halftime Show

The OXP makes history at the Super Bowl.

Bad Bunny delighted people around the world at Super Bowl LX, as he performed hit songs like ‘Monaco’, ‘Party’, ‘CAFé CON RON’, and ‘BAILE INoLVIDABLE’. Despite the fact that his popular ‘BOOKER T’ theme song wasn’t played, there was still some wrestling influence involved in the show.

The OXP, a new indie wrestler and a ‘Cobra Kai’ star, took to social media hours after the Super Bowl to reveal that he was a stunt double for Benito during the roof crash spot of the halftime show. OXP was also a key part of the show during other sequences.

“What a proud moment. Stunt doubling @badbunnypr for the fall in the beginning landing on a table surrounded by my actual family! That’s right… Ortiz family was all over the Super Bowl! To testing his gags and making everything was safe for him. Then to cap it off, performing next to him with my wife @karate.jewels. It truly was an Benito/Ortiz Bowl hahaha. What an honor, a Boston kid from the hood living his dream and seeing the @patriots play, to showing Martial Arts can take you places and is essential to all types of movement. But most importantly representing my people of Puerto Rico in the biggest stage ever. I couldn’t be more happy and proud to be Boricua!!”
