Drilla Moloney Re-Signs With NJPW, Announces He’ll Be In 2026 New Japan Cup

Drilla Moloney is sticking around at NJPW.

One of the matches advertised for NJPW The New Beginning in Osaka was the duo of Shingo Takagi and Drilla Moloney taking on United Empire’s Great-O-Khan and HENARE.

Takagi and Moloney pulled out the win with Moloney securing the pinfall victory.

Post-match, Moloney grabbed a microphone and kneeled on the ring mat. Commentary stated that based on Moloney’s tone, it appeared as if he was about to wrap up with NJPW, but Moloney revealed that he re-signed with the promotion.

He then added that he’ll be in the 2026 New Japan Cup tournament, which starts in March.

In December 2025, Fightful Select reported that Moloney was among the War Dogs members whose NJPW contract was coming up in the new year.
