NJPW Young Lion Cup Winner Katsuya Murashima Going On Excursion To wXw Germany, Joining Roster Full-Time

Murashima’s excursion is set.

At NJPW The New Beginning in Osaka, 2026 New Japan Cup winner Katsuya Murashima had his final match with the company before going on excursion.

Murashima’s excursion location has been revealed as wXw Germany pushed out the announcement that he’ll be a full-time member of their roster starting in March 2026.

New Japan Wrestler Katsuya Murashima from March with wXw!

New Japan Young Lion Cup winner Katsuya Murashima will become a full roster member of wXw starting in March 2026. He is the third wrestler, after Oskar and Yuto Nakashima, to set up camp in Germany as part of his excursion. Murashima will move to Gelsenkirchen in just a few weeks and will complete his further training at the wXw Wrestling Academy.

@njpw_murashima will make his German debut on March 5 at wXw Inner Circle in the Turock in Essen. He will be in action on March 7 at AMBITION 17 as part of the 16 Carat Gold Festival. After that, he will step into the ring at almost all wXw events.

We would like to thank New Japan Pro Wrestling for the trust they have placed in us and hope that Katsuya Murashima will have a similarly successful journey in Germany as Young Blood / Knockout Brothers before he too returns to Japan as a star. (@njpwglobal @njpw1972)

The current IWGP Tag Team Champions, the Knock Out Brothers (Yuto-Ice & OSKAR), went on excursion to wXw Germany, where they formed their tag team.
