Drilla Moloney ‘Politely Rejected’ Interest From American Companies Before Re-Signing With NJPW

Drilla Moloney is sticking around in NJPW.

After Drilla Moloney and Shingo Takagi scored a win over United Empire (Great-O-Khan & HENARE) at NJPW The New Beginning in Osaka, Moloney announced that he re-signed with New Japan Pro-Wrestling.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select provided details about Moloney’s re-signing and wrote the following:

Drilla Moloney politely rejected interest from American companies, and ended up signing a NJPW deal for one year. We’re told that the deal is very favorable to him.

Moloney is going to be in the 2026 New Japan Cup tournament.
