Jade Cargill Makes First Successful WWE Women’s Title Defense On WWE SmackDown

After over 100 days, Jade Cargill has made the first successful defense of the WWE Women’s Championship.

Cargill defeated Jordynne Grace on Friday’s WWE SmackDown.

The finish saw Cargill counter Beast Mode by landing on her feet and then hitting a pump kick. Cargill followed up with a one-armed Jaded for the victory.

After the match, Cargill confronted Liv Morgan, who was sitting ringside with Dominik Mysterio and Raquel Rodriguez. Jade Cargill said that if Morgan chose her for WrestleMania 42, it would be her ass.

This was Cargill’s first title defense since she won the title on November 1 from Tiffany Stratton at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event.
