Kyle Fletcher Says Returning To Australia With The TNT Championship Was ‘Always In The Back Of His Mind’ Since Winning It For The First Time

At AEW Grand Slam Australia on Saturday February 15th, Fletcher would take on Mark Briscoe in a ladder match for the TNT Championship, retaining the title while back at home.

While speaking to Pario Magazine in a new interview, Kyle Fletcher commented on returning to Australia with the TNT title, noting that it has been in the back of his mind since winning the championship for the first time.

“When I won this title for the first time, I think that was always in the back of my mind of something I really wanted to do, knowing that we were coming back in February. Hold on to it till then. So, I mean, took a roundabout way to get here, but yeah, it feels pretty cool. It feels pretty cool to be able to like bring this physical thing that I can hold my hands home and be like, look what I’ve accomplished. So yeah, it’s cool.”
