John Oliver has referenced the ‘f*ck ICE’ chants at recent AEW shows on the latest episode of his show.

It has been a big couple of weeks for AEW in terms of driving up general discussion of their shows following a pair of occasions where their live fans would loudly chant ‘f*ck ICE’, first on a recent episode of Dynamite and second at AEW Grand Slam: Australia. Both times the chants took place was with Brody King in the ring, who also wore an ‘abolish ICE’ shirt when the company was in Mexico for a separate Grand Slam event last year.

On the latest episode of his show, Last Week Tonight with John Oliver, the talk show host would bring up the f*ck ICE chants while discussing the satisfying nature of AEW sometimes featuring ICE ads.

For more details on the latest set of the chants at AEW Grand Slam: Australia, you can read more about that moment here.

Originally, the chants began during the February 4th edition of AEW Dynamite, when Brody King squared off with MJF in a world title eliminator match. You can read more about that here.
