Thekla Credits Julia Hart And Skye Blue For Helping Her Navigate The AEW System
Since arriving at AEW in May 2025, Thekla was immediately positioned as one of the top competitors in the women’s division. She took out Jamie Hayter on her first night and went on to align with Julia Hart and Skye Blue, always finding a spot on television.
On the February 11 episode of AEW Dynamite, Thekla leveled up even further, winning the AEW Women’s Title from Kris Statlander in a strap match.
Speaking to Raj Prashad of Yahoo’s Uncrowned, Thekla credited her Triangle of Madness teammates for helping her acclimate to AEW immediately.
“Even though they haven’t been wrestling as long overall, they’ve been in AEW longer than I have. They gave me insight into how things work here and how to navigate the system. That helped a lot,” Thekla said. “Beyond that, Skye is vicious in the ring and has an ‘I don’t care’ attitude, and Julia has an aura that’s off the charts. I love surrounding myself with younger women who are complete bada**es.”
Thekla joined AEW after coming over from STARDOM, where she left by being “fired” by President Taro Okada after attacking him.
