Mickie James Discusses a Potential Collab With Jelly Roll

TNA Wrestling went viral due to an on-screen appearance from Jelly Roll.

The multi-time Grammy winning artist didn’t do anything other than be caught on camera sitting in the front row, but that was more than enough to get people talking.

Mickie James and Gabby Laspisa discussed his appearance on the latest episode of Gabby AF where the host urged James for a collab.

“Someone said it, he was literally like four feet behind me and I’m like, dude he would never,” James said. “I didn’t take a picture with either of them either and I’m really kicking myself. I didn’t want to be a mark. I really do love them and appreciate them on so many levels, they’re incredible artists. Especially Jelly, on a spirit level, I love this man.”

James continued, “I think it was right before he [Jelly Roll] blew up, Neil Lowey from WWE called me to ask, ‘oh do you want to be in this music video?’ I was like oh yeah, maybe. Who is it? It’s this guy named Jelly Roll, he’s up and coming. The date they were filming the video or whatever I was in France so it didn’t work. Then like six months later I kept hearing this guy Jelly Roll Jelly Roll Jelly Roll and it was him. He just blew up. So I was almost in his video, but I didn’t tell him that because that’s embarrassing.”

Mickie James made her long awaited TNA return at No Surrender, the same night the company brought Jelly Roll in as they were at The Pinnacle in Nashville, TN.
