Corino is a trainer at the WWE Performance Center.
His last singles match took place in August 2021 when he faced his son Colby Corino. He wrestled in the 2025 Premier Tag League as Mr. Wrestling 3, winning the tournament alongside Alexander Lev.
This is Corino’s first championship since he was one-third of the PWF Universal Six Man Tag Team Champions in 2016.
Marie was originally scheduled to face Krule. She held the title for 122 days and made two successful title defenses.
