Claudio Castagnoli To Defend CMLL World Title In Three-Way On 2/27

The next title defense is set for Claudio Castagnoli.

CMLL announced that Claudio will defend the CMLL World Heavyweight Championship on Saturday, February 27 in a three-way match against Euforia and Akuma.

Euforia and Akuma both answered the open challenge put out by Claudio Castagnoli.

This will be Castagnoli’s fifth defense since winning the CMLL World Heavyweight Championship from Gran Guerrero in November 2025. He has made successful defenses against Ultimo Guerrero, Roderick Strong, Xelhua, and Josh Alexander during his reign.

Friday’s event will also feature a hair vs. hair match as Johnny TV takes on Angel de Oro.
