Tatum Paxley Reflects On Casket Match With Wendy Choo, ‘We Were So Thankful For It’

Tatum Paxley reflects on her big match with Wendy Choo.
Paxley and Choo faced off in a Casket Match back on the October 29, 2025 episode of WWE NXT. This was another historic feat for women’s wrestling, as it was the first Women’s Casket Match in WWE history.
Speaking with Denise Salcedo for a new interview, Paxley said that the match is one of the biggest accomplishments of her career.
“Huge. Huge. I remember walking out of that match going, ‘I want to have a match like that for the rest of my career. I only want casket matches.’ That was the most fun I’ve ever had. Just getting to be the first to do. First thing in my mind, I’m like, ‘There’s no way that this hasn’t been done yet.’ We’re all trying to think of getting to be the first and to be granted it, I’m so thankful that they trusted me and Wendy Choo to present WWE with the first women’s casket match ever. We were so thankful for it and I’m so happy that I got to do it with Wendy Choo, she’s such an amazing talent. It’s one of my biggest accomplishments to say that I got to do that. It’s very incredible and very on brand.”
