Randy Orton Says He’s Talked To Je’Von Evans About Not Doing Everything Every Night

Je’Evon Evans has been one of the breakout stars for WWE, whether he was showcasing his talent on NXT or the main roster. Evans shared the ring with Randy Orton in October 2024 on NXT, ultimately falling short in victory, but earning the respect of Orton.

Speaking to Pat McAfee, Orton shared advice he’s given Je’Evon about taking care of himself.

“Early on in my career, I was horrible with my body. I was doing all sorts of shit that I shouldn’t have been doing. I kind of had a reality check. I turned things around. The in-ring work, I make sure that everything that I’m doing, there is a reason why I’m doing it. I’m not just throwing myself around. I see young guys come up and they don’t hurt. Je’Von Evans, perfect example. He is incredible, but I’ve had a couple of talks with him because he’s doing so many things that nobody else can do and he doesn’t need to do them all every night,” he said.

Randy Orton and Evans will compete inside the men’s Elimination Chamber on Saturday.
