Cody Rhodes: I Think There’s A Sleeper WrestleMania Emerging

Cody Rhodes has a prediction for WrestleMania 42.

As of publish time, there are only two announced matches for this year’s ‘Showcase Of The Immortals’. Some fans have criticized the lack of obvious direction for the event, which is only 50 days away.

Speaking with Mostly Sports for a new interview, Cody Rhodes talked about the unpredictable nature of this year’s WrestleMania season.

“Enjoy the season. It’s unpredictable this year. I know there’s a little bit of impatience in general, what are the matches — it’s a Road To WrestleMania and I think what Triple H will — I think there’s a sleeper WrestleMania emerging if that makes any sense. Sometimes the tenures are very obvious, sometimes the big staple pieces like John Cena’s final [Mania match]. I think we’re sitting on a sleeper mania here.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Rhodes talked about wrestlers being sensitive to fan criticism as of late. Fans can check out his full comments by clicking here.
