Konosuke Takeshita Captures NJPW World TV Championship At The New Beginning USA
There is a new World TV Champion.
The NJPW World Television Championship was on the line at The New Beginning USA in Trenton, New Jersey. El Phantasmo put his title on the line against Konosuke Takeshita.
The World TV Title matches have a 15-minute time limit, and the bout between Takeshita and Phantasmo went the distance. It was the second time that they had gone the distance in a TV Title match. The first time it happened was at NJPW Wrestling Dontaku in May 2025.
Phantasmo grabbed a microphone and asked for five more minutes, and Takeshita accepted. Takeshita ended up putting Phantasmo away with the ‘Raging Fire.’ ELP’s title reign clocked out at 305 days.

- IWGP Heavyweight Champion
- NEVER Openweight Champion
- G1 Climax winner (2025)
- NJPW World Television Champion
After the bout, ELP bowed to Takeshita, and Takeshita showed respect back to the former champion.
