Persephone To Challenge Mercedes Mone For CMLL World Women’s Title

Persephone will challenge Mercedes Mone for the CMLL World Women’s Championship on March 6.

Persphone earned the right to face Mercedes by defeating Olympia on February 27. The finish saw Persephone fake an eye injury and then hit Olympia with the BT Bomb.

Persephone teamed with Olympia on February 24 to defeat Tessa Blanchard & Zeuxis, setting up their bout on February 27 to see who would move on to challenge Mercedes.

This will be Mercedes’ first match in CMLL since October 2025 when she defeated Persephone. She has held the CMLL World Women’s Title since AEW Grand Slam Mexico in June 2025 when she defeated Zeuxis.

Mercedes Mone has not wrestled since losing the AEW TBS Title on New Year’s Eve.
