Tomohiro Ishii Sidelined With A Neck Injury

Tomohiro Ishii is out of action with a neck injury.
New Japan Pro-Wrestling announced that Ishii suffered a neck injury and will miss the New Japan Cup tour. Ishii was scheduled to face the winner of Ren Narita vs. Taichi in the second round as he received a first round bye.
Satoshi Kojima will take his place. It was not said how long Ishii will be sidelined.

Tomohiro Ishii, who was scheduled to wrestle in the New Japan Cup this month after a first round bye, has sustained a neck injury and will be absent for the duration of the tour.

Satoshi Kojima will substitute for Ishii during the New Japan Cup tournament, and will face the winner of Ren Narita and Taichi in round two on March 12 in Takamatsu.

Ishii last wrestled at NJPW New Beginning USA, losing the NJPW Strong Openweight Title to Oleg Boltin.
