Joe Hendry: Anytime I Get To A Live Event, My First Question Is About The Crowd Draw
Joe Hendry is following the path of the greats.
Coming off his recent NXT Championship win, Hendry is now the top dog on for the silver and black brand. With that, he is choosing to follow in the footsteps of other top stars.
Speaking with The Takedown on Sports Illustrated for a new interview, Hendry said that he asks about the draws for each show that he is at.
“Absolutely. Anytime I get to a live event, my first question is I ask where are we at with the draw, where were we last time. I learned from that from — CM Punk does that, John Cena does that. All of the top talents did that so, I’ve tried to learn as much as I can from these guys. I’ve been fortunate enough to spend time with these guys, I’ve learned from them. That is one thing I’ve noticed — they are very hands on with the stats and knowing how they are. Yes, it’s pressure, but in his game pressure is a privilege.”
