MJF Defeats Kevin Knight To Retain AEW World Title On AEW Dynamite

MJF prevails over Kevin Knight.

This week’s episode of AEW Dynamite opened up with an AEW World Championship match between MJF and ‘The Jet’. This match came after Knight challenged MJF on the February 28 episode of Collision.

In the end, Knight fell short of singles gold. The finishing sequence of the match saw Knight attempt his UFO Splash finisher. MJF got his knees up and proceeded to crush Knight with his Heat Seeker piledriver for the victory.

With the win, MJF’s current reign with the title rolls on. As of publish time, Friedman has successfully defended the title against names like Zilla Fatu, Bandido, Brody King, and Alec Price.
