Penta Believes Rey Fenix Is Best Luchador In The World, Wants To Win WWE Tag Titles With Fenix

Penta speaks highly of his brother.

O’Shea Jackson Jr. and T.J. Jefferson rolled out a new episode of the No-Contest Wrestling podcast featuring the newly crowned WWE Intercontinental Champion, Penta.

As the conversation moved along, it shifted over to Penta’s brother, Rey Fenix. Penta expressed his opinion that his brother is the best luchador in the world.

“I always say the same, for me, in my personal opinion, my brother is one of the best luchadors in the world because he is very spectacular. He is like seven years younger than me. That’s why he is faster. When I saw my brother’s matches, it’s like, ‘Wow, it’s incredible.’ This guy is like, for me, the best luchador in the world. It’s an honor for me to tag team with my brother again.”

He would go on to state that he wants to win tag team gold with Fenix in WWE. Penta then called WWE the best company in the universe.

“I want the tag team — could be with my brother… Imagine the best tag team in the universe, WWE Tag Team Champions in the best company in the universe.”

Following up on that, Penta said he knows when The Lucha Bros. reunite under the WWE banner, it is going to be crazy.

“Bro, it’s very special for me right now because I know my brother is on SmackDown. He start to build his career, you know, little by little. But I’m sure, I feel in my heart that when the Lucha Bros together again, bro, the world will be crazy. I’m sure of that, but for right now, I’m focused on this and my brother start focusing on SmackDown for different things. But, when the Lucha Bros happen again, believe in me. You believe in me. I’m sure it will happen then.”

The Lucha Brothers were supposed to team up in AAA in December 2025 against Dominik Mysterio and El Grande Americano. Penta ended up going down with a shoulder injury.
